As a young boy, I found out early on that cannabis was a very special plant. I did not know much about it then; not as much as I do now. I already thought it was a very interesting product back then. That had more to do with the fact that it could make you high or stoned. I figured it was a very interesting product. I liked the smell of it, and I liked the way it was grown. And how it ended up being processed into the product you could possibly put into a joint. That is where it actually started.
Later in life, I started to learn more about the other properties of this plant. And especially the interest I had in physics, chemistry and a bit of the scientific story behind it. I soon realised that this plant not only serves to get high or stoned, but it could also provide food or textiles, or even medicines. That fuelled my interest and passion even more. And for those reasons, I actually continued working with cannabis.
