If you look at the methods used to make CBD oil, you can actually discern two methods. These are the CO2 extraction (under high pressure) and the ethanol extraction process (via alcohol). It is important to know where the active ingredients in the plant can be found. These are mainly found in the leaves and flowers of the plant. On those flowers, there are trichomes and on the sugar leaves (those are the leaves around the flowers), there are the same trichomes. Think of these trichomes as snail eyes, and that is where the active substances are.
These active substances are released by the CO2 extraction technique, so under high pressure. Or by alcohol, which then releases the active substances from those trichomes. Eventually, by evaporation, or CO2 extraction under high pressure, the substances can be captured. If you collect a lot of these substances, the end product is created. This end product can be diluted with a carrier, such as a hemp seed oil, to make CBD oil.
